As the demand for Places for Peoples Landscapes team services grow we are looking for an Arborist Climber, based out of Milton Keynes covering work in the South. You will work as part of a close knit professional team providing a high quality tree management service. What your role will be Working within our communities we need you to carry out inspections and surveys on trees putting forward proposal and recommendations if changes need to be made. In your role you will carry out all identified or specified arboricultural operations in a systematic and safe way. You will service and maintain equipment and vehicles, ensuring that they are in a clean and tidy condition internal and external as well as carrying out routine maintenance. You will provide support to other members of the team including providing support to the any grounds maintenance operatives and seasonal staff assigned to you. Our contracts extend across the south of England, therefore you will be required to travel in this role and may, on occasion, require to stay overnight away from home. Your background To be considered for this post we need you to have practical experience working within a similar role. You should have good tree identification knowledge and an understanding of arboricultural practices and procedures. Being able to climb trees is understandably essential. Ideally should possess the Arboriculture NVQ level 2 or hold NPTC qualifications. Due to the travelling involved in this role it would be highly beneficial for you to hold a full driving license, although arrangements can be made to transport you if you cannot drive. Applicants holding a trailer license in addition to a driving licence will be welcomed.
