We are recruiting for a newly created position, for a high-performing Strategic Senior Sales Director to join an extremely ambitious organisation within the Retail Design arena. This key role will be will be responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve the Company’s sales objectives. The candidate will have responsibility for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities of the business with a view to taking on a board position. They will be well-connected, possess sound market intelligence, and have the drive and motivation to succeed reporting directly to the Managing Director they will need to lead and develop a team to take the business to its next phase. Key Attributes:- •Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base •Effectively communicate the strategies through updates, proposals and presentations •Take ultimate responsibility and accountability for all Sales, including nurturing existing and development of new clients •Understand Market and Industry trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts •Take owner ship of Sales Pipeline from forecasting, lead generation and management of orders •Maximise opportunities, profitability and margins. •Able to devise, lead and implement a variety of marketing and promotional initiatives •Design - Understand both the creative and development sides, have a good technical understanding of the key materials and production processes within our sector. Experience and Character:- •Able to manage, coach, develop and mentor other members of Sales team •Proven sales experience, consistently meeting and exceeding targets. •Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive level. •Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning stage to close •Knowledge and experience of the retail display and associated markets •High levels of drive, energy, passion and self-motivation •High levels of personal organisation; reliable and trustworthy •Professional, switched-on and articulate This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/75269264
