Our client has a vacancy for a Business Development Manager to proactively support Head of Sales and the wider Consumer Promotions and Loyalty team in growing the business by utilising the products and services provided to create solutions to generate new business opportunities. The Role: •Approach new and existing customers to understand their objectives and sell them the right solution in a consultative way. •Build relationships with clients and agencies to sell solutions that drive consumer enagagement. •Negotiate and close business deals with presentations on solutions and services, whilst maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. •Develop a sales strategy with the Head of Sales to proactively identify, research and approach agreed industry targets in order to achieve the business target which is how your performance will ultimately be measured. •Meet with clients, understand their objectives and create solutions using the tools provided to win business. •Actively assist in the cross-selling of solutions within the client base. •Work with Client Services and Specialist Heads to build appropriate responses to client needs which give the best chance of entering into a profitable business relationship with the contacts. •Use the marketing and sales support materials provided as part of the sales toolkit and support agreed marketing campaigns. •Update all contact details, pipeline & files to the appropriate IT and CRM systems. Requirements: •Significant Sales and Account Management experience. •Ability to demonstrate a successful sales career selling consultative solutions. •A broad understanding of business issues faced by senior managers and directors. •An ability to deal with and effectively communicate with clients at all levels. •The ability to understand a clients’ business needs, requirements and challenges, and to successfully sell in a solution from the suite of services •Excellent written and verbal communication with a high attention to detail. •Creative thinker with the ability to create solutions.
