Our client has a vacancy for a Business Development Manager to proactively support Head of Sales and the wider team in growing the business by utilising the solutions through effective identification of new business opportunities. The Role: •Specifically target agencies in UK and mainly Europe to sell the promotions and fixed fee solution. •Help define the business strategy by creating key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and meet or predict future client needs. •Negotiate and close business deals with presentations on solutions and services, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. •Develop a sales strategy with the Head of Sales to proactively identify, research and approach existing and new agencies within the UK and Europe to build on the revenue and relationships. •Identify opportunities to talk to agencies about other solutions that we have across the business. •Regular contact with agencies through account management and new business approach, over the phone and face to face. •Work with internal teams to deliver the right solution to the client. •Update all contact details, files and pipeline to the appropriate IT and CRM systems. •Work with Client Services and Specialist Heads to build appropriate responses to client needs which give the best chance of entering into a profitable business relationship with the contacts. •Use the marketing and sales support materials provided as part of the sales toolkit and support agreed marketing campaigns.Where necessary work with marketing to create new tools. Requirements: •Significant Sales and Relationship Development experience. •Working currently within the sales promotion industry with experience of selling fixed fee solutions. •A good understanding of the agency market and how it works. •Good with numbers, a logical approach to their work and a high attention to detail. •An ability to deal with and effectively communicate with clients at all levels. •German or Polish speaking ideal, however not essential.
