My client based in Milton Keynes is currently looking for a System Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role: To help develop and maintain existing operating systems by working closely with key stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and availability of business-critical applications to deliver value for money and to minimise business risk. Responsibilities: Support the business on our primary systems MS Dynamics (AX), Aeromark and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) from a software developer perspective Work closely with customers to identify business needs and the benefits of implementing a computing solution Construct information technology (IT) documentation based on identified needs of the organization Devise and document a general system design based on the client's anticipated requirements working within the IT intake process and the predefined IT documentation framework Design and run reports to provide internal Key Performance Indicators throughout the business Testing and maintaining of all IT systems Provide staff training of the systems implemented Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, focused on continuous improvement Proven technical experience in software architecture/development: ?CRM ?Microsoft Dynamics (AX) ?ERP software products ?Relational Databases, ideally MS SQL Server and MySQL ?Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ?Writing business intelligence reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports.
