Business Intelligence Manager Base - Luton or New Milton Reporting to the Head of Transformation, the role of Business Intelligence Manager will be to enable the data driven culture within FirstPort, supporting the business in making fast accurate decisions and to build the capability within the data insights team through upskilling the team members and improving our technical capability. The role is also key for ensuring potential business improvements/risks are highlighted by using the data to our advantage. What you'll be doing: Drive the insight driven organisation strategy throughout the business Work with the business to help understand risk and opportunities through data Ensure high availability of data throughout the business at all levels Be a data champion in the business Remove unnecessary reporting and manual process within the business by mobilisation our BI platform Enhance our current capabilities within the data insight team Build and improve predictive models Improve the quality and reliability of our data assets What you'll be responsible for Developing, maintaining and enhancing our data platform A team of analysts creating insight for the business Who you'll be working with External Developers / Freeholder / Housing Association clients RMC/RTM clients Insurance brokers Solicitors Internal Marketing & communications team Heads of Business Other internal FirstPort departments C-Level Person Specification Qualifications Degree level / equivalent qualification preferred Relevant A Levels qualifications (e.g. Maths) advantageous Experience Experience gained in an operationally oriented business (e.g. property services or other B2B service business) with responsibility for analysing and presenting data. Experience of leading a small highly focused team in a demanding environment Knowledge Practical knowledge of developing reporting and data structures and systems Understanding of / empathy with property management sector A wider knowledge of what it takes to be an insight driven organisation Technical Skills Ability to analyse data/trends and accurately report information is essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Experience in SQL, R, Python Advanced Excel skills preferably with VBA Familiarity with Microsoft Office programmes and CRM database applications.
