The organisation Are you an experienced Digital Campaign Planner or Planning Manager looking for a step up or your next challenge? Do you want to work in a business where you will be an inspirational Digital lead? This forward thinking and dynamic retailer based in the Northern Home Counties is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Planning Manager to join their business on a permanent basis working on Digital Events. The Role The Senior Digital Planning Manager will create and maintain a Digital Planning function which ensures consistent, high quality, cross functional planning of key category, seasonal and set piece events as well as identifying new digital campaign and event opportunities. Responsibilities will include: - Create a set of digital campaign principles, which are founded in analytics & customer experience data - Foster and establish a digital first approach to campaigns, promotional & non-promotional events - Build strong relationship via consistent communication with relevant stakeholders - Own the homepage planning process, building on input from other teams within the Digital Trading function - Lead, coach & develop the team ensuring they understand the overall digital strategy - Be the main point of contact for any marketing driven activities - Act as senior project lead where needed on key digital projects - Be a visible leader across the wider Digital trading function The candidate You will be required to possess the following skills and experience - Previous senior level experience of Digital Event and Campaign planning is essential ideally from within a retail business - Experience of managing, coaching and developing a team - Successfully using data to formulate insights and an opinion - Providing detailed feedback and learnings on digital campaigns - Use of digital analytics tools such as Adobe, Google Analytics or IBM As well as the technical skills you will need to be a highly driven individual, able to gain buy in quickly and be comfortable being the voice of digital amongst non-digital stakeholders of all levels.
