1st / 2nd line Service Desk Analyst / Support Engineer Milton Keynes - NEW The Company Once again Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established IT Solutions Provider. My client has been going for 15 years and is industry recognised for their service level. The Role Due to industry growth and winning new business my client now requires Service Desk Engineer to compliment their dynamic existing team. The role will be permanently based at my clients customer site and you will be responsible for provding internal IT Support to end users. You will provide provide 1st & 2nd Level support duties directly to end users within the business, in a Microsoft Windows / Exchange environment Key Duties and Responsibilities: To Provide 1st /2nd level technical support via remote/telephone and onsite. Answering support queries via phone, email, Ticketing System To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management. Overall responsibly for the progression and effective resolution of all support cases received in accordance with customer SLA requirements. On-site support at client's site when issues cannot be resolved remotely. The role requires the following attributes: - Good knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems - Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office suites - Good understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration. - Understanding of Networking and TCP/IP Protocols The Candidate You will be an experienced Helpdesk 1st /2nd Line Support Engineer with 2 or more year's commercial experience, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Exchange environment. You are required to and have some commercial knowledge of Windows Desktop and Exchange exposure. Key Skills: - Windows OS - 1st 2nd line support - Firewalls, Anti-virus - Active Directory - Server Admin To clarify this role is working for a managed service provider, however you will be permanently based at their client site and providing end user support and dealing with internal IT related issues.
