This leading e-commerce business now has an exciting opportunity for a PMO Manager. The key purpose of the role is to support the efficient running of the Programme which includes: Coordinating activities and communications on the Programme, acting as secretariat to the Programme Steering Committee and being the main point of contact between the Programme and Corporate PMO Being the custodian and central repository for all Programme information - acting as a point of contact to orientate new team members and other interested stakeholders to the Programme Coordinating all the Programme level risks, issues and actions; tracking the budget, leading on all reporting requirements, both across the programme and out to the wider business and being point of escalation to Steering Committee Helping maintain the overall Programme Plan, coordinating all critical Programme meetings and assist in the quality assurance of project outputs Your specific accountabilities will include; Fortnightly Deliverables Preparation of Steering Committee papers Completion of Programme Highlight Report Reporting on programme finances Production of programme KPIs Production of Steering Committee minutes Updating programme risks, issues, actions and milestones Day to Day Activates Track delivery of project and business milestones against programme plan Maintain the risk, action and issues log Chasing updates on agreed actions Updating the key deliverables at programme level Promote key programme meetings Book rooms and facilities for meetings Project Management Capability Solid understanding of project management principles, in a very demanding high growth environment. Supports the tracking of financial and non-financial project benefits. Ensures key project meetings are planned with agreed Purpose and Outcomes (POST); followed up promptly with agreed actions. Provides discipline to the project plan, by capturing agreed actions and timelines; then chasing these to completion. Ensures all documents are appropriately filed in a central repository. In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need the following skills and/or experience; Demonstrable project and/or change management experience, risk management, monitoring and reporting Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills; able to communicate and influence at different levels of the business; good stakeholder management Strong attention to detail; clear process and delivery focus; robust, disciplined and thorough Ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and find workable solutions when faced with challenges Flexible in approach; always seeks more efficient ways of doing things Strong analytical skills demonstrated preferably through previous experience Proficiency in MS Office , in particular good skills with MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint Relevant project management qualifications e.g. 'MSP' or 'Prince' desirable Familiarity with technical IT transformation projects although not essential would be an advantage Advantage xPO is in the top 1% of staffing companies in the world.
