This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that is open to both experienced DT Teachers and NQT’s looking to further their career in a supportive school. This is a well-established school that sits on a large and beautiful site surrounded by countryside and the Chiltern Hills. The Academy is the modern successor to Dunstable Grammar School which existed from 1881 to 1971 when Bedfordshire County Council adopted the comprehensive system. From this time it moved to its present site and became an upper school educating pupils aged 13-18. In 2014 the school became a full secondary school accepting pupils at age 11. The ideal candidate will be a teacher with a passion for food, cooking and nutrition or an NQT who demonstrates the potential of growing into an outstanding practitioner.
