Position: Business Development Executive Location: Milton Keynes Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £23,000-£26,000 with fantastic OTE of circa £40,000 About the role: They currently have an exciting opportunity in their Sales department, working as a Business Development Executive within the highly successful System Certification sales team based in Milton Keynes. Responsibilities: As a Business Development Executive, you will be you'll be representing BSI selling and advising on a range of world class business improvement solutions to both new and existing customers across a wide range of business sectors. These solutions include a range of products and services such as ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 as well as identifying other opportunities to upsell and cross-sell into other business streams. From converting initial enquiries right through to closing a deal, they require a sales person who is constantly striving to investigate, explore and understand customer needs in order to maximise opportunities. By establishing executive level relationships, you'll work in partnership with the customer to establish an understanding of their commercial drivers and how BSI can enable them to become more efficient. This role is perfect for a highly motivated and customer focused individual with a passion for optimising existing customer relationships and winning new customers. About you: To be successful in this role you'll need excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills obtained from a desirable solution based business to business sales background. Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills are essential to succeed in this role. You'll use your strong interpersonal and influencing skills to confidently communicate complex technical issues to successfully encourage customers to expand their product range. You'll also have a Degree level qualification, equivalent educated or a proven track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations in a sales environment. In addition, you'll be: - Resourceful and solution orientated. - Proactive and flexible. - Results oriented. - Great on the computer.
