Reporting Lead Volkswagen Financial Services (or VWFS as it’s known to us) is one of the UK’s largest automotive finance & insurance providers, working with some of the world’s most iconic car brands including Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini. Our Customer Operations team take thousands of calls and emails per month and we’re looking to create a new insights and reporting function which will enable us to improve our understanding of customer behaviour and drive operational excellence. About the role Reporting into the Insights and Data Manager, you will be responsible for the prioritisation of all new and existing management information requests through initial requirements gathering. Managing a small team of Reporting Analysts, you’ll support the delivery of management information across Customer Operations. The remit of your team will be to provide reporting and analysis which adds value, is easy to interpret, and articulates a clear story which drives/informs Insights outputs. Shifting towards proactive reporting and more sophisticated systems and processes, you will play a key role in the development of new tools and ways of working. Currently there are multiple data sources and systems to navigate. One of your key projects will be to pro-actively work with other teams across the department to drive automation of report creation and optimisation of existing reporting capability, ultimately reducing the requirement for ad-hoc report requests and driving efficiencies through reductions in manual work and human error. Skills and Experience Required Strong line management experience of more than one direct report Experience of operating in a similar role, balancing data and analytical skills with team management Experience of actively managing stakeholders at varying levels and operating within/delivering through cross functional teams Advanced PC literacy: Microsoft Office skills especially Excel for reporting requirements, Tableau and data visualisation experience, along with Minitab desirable. Knowledge/experience of Business Objects.
