“Adding value to global retailers” National Account Manager Philex is a leading consumer electronic and AV accessories supplier to large global retailers, with factories in China, and offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Philex strategy of offering domestic or Far East supply, along with excellent category management and retail support, continues to drive growth within our business and we are now looking for an experienced National Account Manager to join our existing team. The role will be based at our head office in Bedford, but will involve travel in the UK and occasionally to the Far East, and possibly Europe. Successful candidates need to demonstrate excellent commercial, communication and negotiation skills, as well as having a strong track record of managing large retail accounts. As a National Account Manager for some of the UK’s largest retailers, you will be responsible for delivering the Philex promise of adding value to global retailers. Growing sales in partnership with some of the High Streets biggest names will already be your key area of expertise. Reporting to the Head of Sales you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing key accounts as well as identifying new opportunities/customers to increase sales and profitability. THE PERSON Proven National Account management, preferably within consumer electronics field. Strong understanding of NPD and Category management Be able to demonstrate excellent commercial, negotiation, communication and presentation skills Be able to lead a team from the front in a motivational manner Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent organisational and analytical skills Proven track record of increasing sales within large accounts A full driving licence is essential This position offers a rare and challenging opportunity for proven account managers to have a progressive future ahead of them.
