Service Desk Analyst - Graduate/Junior (Bespoke Software First Line Helpdesk)

Working for a leading provider of world-class primary healthcare technology based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

JOB ROLE

- Service Desk Analyst - Graduate/Junior to provide friendly, professional and effective technical support to our UK and Ireland primary healthcare customers
- To work as part of an extended customer support team including colleagues on the support desk and in other functions
- To systematically troubleshoot, resolve, log and follow up on customer support cases
- Service Desk Analyst - Graduate/Junior to ensure that the highest level of quality and friendliness is maintained with regards to customer support activities
- You will be involved in Bespoke application support for my Clients products - full training will be given.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

- A BSc Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent HND/GNVQ or IT qualifications in CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA IT Fundamentals or Microsoft qualification - any one would be okay.
- Ideally previous experience in a similar role, including diagnosing, repairing and solving
- Technical knowledge in any of the following: Microsoft Windows XP/7/8 OS and Microsoft Office
- Self-directed, methodical and organised in your approach to work
- Logical in your approach to troubleshooting, problem solving and fault diagnosis.
- Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLA's) or ITIL methodology an advantage
- Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution
- Good team player with strong customer service focus
- Willingness to learn with friendly, professional and flexible attitude
- Good communication skills - excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships at all levels and with all types of people. Good communication skills - verbal and written - with clarity of expression
