Based: Hitchin

up to 20,000 pro rata

Responsibilities and Duties

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support their Finance team on a 6 Month FTC. Based in Hitchin the role will work 37.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for your own part of the payables ledger and your main tasks will be to process payable invoices onto our SAP system.

It would be your responsibility to ensure that all costs are recorded for month end accounting and to handle invoice and payment queries to the point of resolution.

In addition you will be required to carry out regular reconciliation of supplier statements and maintain an accurate and thorough filing system related to payable invoices.

You will have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-national organisation.

You will be able to demonstrate through your experience where you have been able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.

Previous experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar.

You will be a great communicator with strong numerical and written skills.

Have excellent workload planning and organisational skills, giving you the ability to prioritise a challenging workload.
