A rapidly growing Design Led Pet Accessories Company is looking for a driven, dynamic and fast paced Supply Chain and Demand Planning Professional. They will be responsible for planning the supply of product from both the Far East and across Europe through optimising inventory requirements, whilst ensuring OTIF for UK Retailers. You will be pivotal to the growth of the business and an instrumental part of the supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end to end supply planning process to include maximising inventory level and product availability for circa 1,250 SKUs Demand planning and forecasting interaction with UK retailers Liaison with suppliers - both in the Far East and Europe Track all movement of stock shipments for OTIF delivery to warehouse and customer, analysing KPI data to monitor performance against relevant agreed lead times Inventory management and stock optimisation Develop a complete understanding of SAP and AGR (our forecasting tool) to drive KPIs and demonstrate excellent control of respective areas Recommend next steps and process changes from interpreting report data and KPIs Key Skills: Graduate calibre A strong understanding of Retail / Wholesale / FMCG supply chain with at least 5 years experience Highly computer literate - advanced excel. Excellent SAP knowledge would be an advantage Customer and Supplier focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers and suppliers Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively Diligent in completion of tasks and projects Strong team player Highly organised and motivated Demonstrate ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend change Candidate Requirement You will be a dynamic and hands-on person who is comfortable working in a small team environment The role is office based so you will need to live in a commutable distance to Stotfold to allow access to the office on a daily basis Limited travel will be involved to visit our DCs and our customers to drive building collaborative working relationships You will be happy to take direction from the Operations Director but also be able to work autonomously working on your own initiative Last but by no means least - you will bring energy, drive and a good sense of humour NB - this is not a role for someone wanting a 9-5 job ticking boxes in a systematic environment with embedded processes. We are a young, extremely fast paced wholesaler with ambitious growth plans. You need to constantly grow and adapt to new customers and demands.
