Position: Project Planner / Controller Location: Stevenage Salary:Up to £45,000 P/A plus excellent benefits including overtime, flexi-time and pension Project Planner | Project Controller | Primavera | EVM | Earned Value Management The Role A number of exciting opportunities have arisen with a world class technology company based in Stevenage for a team of Project Planner / Controllers, who will be at the heart of a particular project, working with engineers and all other areas of the project team to supply, analyse and manage project information on behalf of the various stakeholders. The Project Planner / Controller, will be looking for a new challenge with the opportunity to grow further skills and develop a long term career in an exciting industry. The Project Planner / Controller will be an integral part of the Business team, adding valued analysis to Project decisions. The Project Planner / Controller will be joining a dynamic, focussed team sitting at the heart of the Project, with close integration within the wider team including Technical and Manufacturing. You will receive training in the core Project Control skills/toolset, and have a clear development path both within and external to the Project Control function, as well as having the opportunity to pursue leadership and subject matter expert roles in the future. You will have the support to achieve a recognised (PMI) qualification, as well as having the opportunity to work in an international environment on a wide variety of project phases covering all stages of the life-cycle Accountabilities Practicing, promoting and upholding the Company standard of planning and scheduling Analysing performance, determining variance and its respective causes Challenge project performance data and turn it into relevant, high quality and accurate reports Foster good working relationships with engineers and the broader community to be able to embed the company Project Control standards Facilitate and champion robust Risk and Opportunity management Requirements / Skills Experience in planning and industry standard planning techniques Experience in enterprise business management tools and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Ability to analyse performance data and define root variance causes and impacts Demonstrable communication skills to all levels, capable of working in an integrated multi-functional team Pro-active team player who can inspire others Knowledge of EVM and Primavera would be highly beneficial F10 The F10 Group offers the services of an Employment Agency for permanent recruitment and the services of an Employment Business for contract recruitment.
