VETERINARY CARE ASSISTANT - Part Time

Hitchin Road, Luton

We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Care Assistant and are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our small animal practice based on Hitchin Road, Luton.

Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.   Mark, our Partner and Vet leads a team of 2 Vets, 2 Veterinary Nurse and 2 Receptionists and we are all dedicated to providing world class clinical care at the heart of our community.

Mark is looking for an individual who is warm, friendly and empathetic; someone who is self-motivated, driven and can work well under pressure.  You must be passionate about the industry and be compassionate about animal care.  As the role involves animal handling and supporting the veterinary team in all aspects of clinical practice, the successful candidate must have previous experience of animal handling. 

The role is part time working 27-33 hours per week including 1 in 2 Saturdays.
