Community Care &Senior Support Workers
Our client is looking to recruit Community Care & Senior Support Workers in the Bedford area.
Due to the nature of the role and location of their clients it is essential you are a car driver.
You will be working for an award-winning provider specialising in care & support to private clients who are still active, but require some personal care and companionship to help them to remain independent in their own homes. This could include offering support to help them with their morning routine, assistance with washing, dressing, prompting to take medication, taking them out shopping/attending local groups, attending doctors/hospital appointments, preparing a meal for them and being a friend and someone for company. Nothing is rushed we spend an absolute minimum of an hour with the people we support.
Don't worry if you are not experienced, our client offers an excellent training package with recognised qualifications and encourages progression throughout, but what we ask for is passion, commitment and a caring nature to be able to help others.
What are the potential hours?
You will be looking for part-time hours, we have various shifts available. If you are available some early mornings, lunchtimes, afternoons, evenings and alternate weekends then we would love to hear from you, even if you only have a few hours to spare then this position could be ideal for you.

We pay £8.50 - £9.50 per hour (double time on bank holidays) plus Mileage Allowance.
What skills do you need to be a Community Care & Senior Support Worker?
Firstly, you have to want to make a difference and have a big heart! You can be any age group and from any background, there is no upper limit. The ability to be able to strike up a relationship and rapport with the person you are paired with is so important.
